Good vs. Free

We did something a little different in our Student Ministry this past weekend. I pulled all of our Small Groups together and we focused around this central thought "Is being good good enough?" Others may think we're a pretty good person. We are nice in public. We help others in need. But what about your heart? What if others could see inside of you?
The truth is - God can see and yet . . . . He still chose to send His Son to redeem us. No matter how "good" we act, the Bible reminds us we are still sinful and self-centered. We needed God's grace - we need His forgiveness - we need His freedom.
Are you just "good" or are you free? There's a big difference.
